Another up market and the cycle continues upward. Lets see how the market react to tomorrow's consumer confidence and pmi numbers. Was surprised that the oil retreated back to the 61 level, even though all the possibility of disruption is still out there. But, I do not think it will go below the 60 dollar level this time, if it does I'll take out all my oil stocks. Well sndk jumped today after an upgrade, so I sold half my position for +4.5/share. This stock continues to be a sweet heart of wall street and will get support from the brokers everytime in goes down. The market might be mixed tomorrow due to the month end and since Feb was a decent month for everyone I don't think there be any action.

Mixed market today even in the face of terrorist activity in Saudi Arabia. Once again the market just amazes me how resilient and strong it continues to be. With the oil running up today, I sold half of sun for +1.5/share, cover apple for -5/share, sold rimm for +7/share, and bought sndk at 66.80. Took aapl at a lost, should have done this much earlier at the 70 dollar mark instead of 72.50. It just moved up so quick and I was not discipline enough to nip it at the bud. However, the rimm movement after the no injunction verdict made up for the lost. Initiated sndk today , it seems to be stabilizing and should move back to the 68-69 range. Well that is all for this short and slow week.

The market continues to chug along, even though it was down the number of new highs easily outweigh the new lows. Which shows there are still buyers out there, but it is starting to slow. Nothing for me today , except I bought rimm at 69.60. This baby should pop either tomorrow or next week due to the settlement with NTP because all these talk about injunction is crazy and foolish. Tomorrow's durable orders should be interesting, to reveal the strength of the consumer spending.

The market continues to be strong, but the buyers are scarce. Did not like how the oil retreated and ran for the hills. Also, did not understand why the market run up beside the lower oil, I meant the cpi was quite bearish. Just a frustrating day overall, with apple running up due to new product announcement on March 1 and what the heck is wrong with wfmi? But did add more shares to wfmi and the cost basis is now 65. Tomorrow's oil inventory hopefully can propel the oils.

After the long weekend, the market took a small consolidation. The market continues to be resilient in the face of higher oil price from the unrest in Nigeria, Venezuelan Prez. Hugo Chavez stirring trouble with threat of oil disruption, and the the Fed not quite finish raising rates. With all these news, the market didn't tank like before which convinced me there is still strength. So the 64K question is, what is the market waiting for to propel it further? Today, sold half of my dvn for +1.4/share when all the oils ran up in the morning. Just can not figure out why the oils retreated after all the the bearish news over the weekend. Well, let see how the market react to tomorrow's cpi number.

The market is starting to swagger with all the new money coming in to bid it higher. However, I just don't like how the Naz is not quite reaching the highs of January while the Dow and SP500 has already touched it. Well today's, runup gave me an opportunity to dump rimm for +.60/share and yesterday I sold vlo for +.50/share. I also shorted appl at 66.60 on Tuesday. Apple is starting to irritate me with this move toward 72. I think the option expiration has some effect on it beside the intel inside the ibooks. Also, glad the oils are finally bottoming out and forming a base here. Tomorrow, no trading due to the option expiration and the long weekend coming.

Is it time to go shopping for some decent value stock? That is what I'm asking myself the past few days. The market sentiment has turned very negative, but will it get even more uglier? That question can only be answer as time unfolds. With that said, the past few day I've been adding to my dvn and bought the following stocks:
tso @77.60
vlo @50.20
rimm @69.90
wfmi @65.60
The oils have corrected tremendously and it is a good time to nibble even though oil per barrel could drop below $60. On rimm, the ntp settlement should be coming out soon, the court deadline is Feb 24, and Rimm will settled which will propel this stock up. Wfmi, the walls treet darling is getting punished for missing by a penny and all the negative sentiment isn't helping it out. But, they continue to grow and have decent growth projections. I'll continue to lay low for awhile and just watch how the market reacts to the Bernake sayings on Wednesday.

Even though the market looks liked it reversed all the lost from yesterday, I'm still not impressed. Pfizer and Coke was what made the market moved higher. It wasn't a frenzy buying and will have to see how it follows through on tomorrow. Missed the opportunity to add to my oils in the morning, it just moved so quickly in the first 30 minutes for me to catch anything. In the after hour, shorted ttmi at 13, great earnings and guidance will cover at 12 for a 1 pointer. Will watch wfmi to see how the institutionals treat this beauty; decent earnings, flat guidance, however, the street love this darling.

Another mixed trading day, because as the oil dropped the market didn't pushed higher as usual. The market is still lingering along the support lines waiting for buyers to push it higher. As the oil dropped, I took the opportunity to long sun at 80.36, and will continue to buy more tomorrow if it drops further. The oil dropped also caused the NG to dropped further which took out all my gains on dvn. But, this dropped was expected after all the Iran hyped has been factored in and all the traders are taking a bit of profit. I do not know how the market will react to the cold front coming this weekend, maybe a bit of buying for tomorrow or Thursday. Anyway, this consolidation in the energy sector is a buying opportunity to me and will be on my watch till the end of the week.

A surprisingly mixed day today, I thought after Iran got submitted to the UN Security council it will spooked the market further down. Mixed is a good sign that the bulls are still lingering around. Day traded isrg, the da vini robotic arm maker for medical surgery. This stock started to dropped in the morning and all the way to mid day, knowing the street loves this darling I bought and it went down further so I add a bit more, after all the traders came back from lunch it slowly launched upward for a +1.30/share gain. This stock is very very volatile and it moves 10 points both way, thus was very fortunate it reverse. Tomorrow, I'll watch aapl and sndk these two are starting to be priced logically compared to 2 weeks ago.

Another down day, but it wasn't that bad because it stopped right near the support levels( 10800 dow,1260 sp & 1260 naz). Which tells me we are not in the all bail out mode, but just lets take some profit and forget about this week mode. With the situation on Iran, I covered all my tso for -.40/share, I would have gotten a gain if I was much more patient. The stock started to moved back up near noon and it spooked me psychologically. Also, covered tsco for +1.50/share, which worked out because it ran back to closed at where I shorted at on yesterday. Well next week should be slow in the economic data front, but there are quite a few more earnings to be unfold.

Just when you think the market wants to go higher, the market just slammed on the brakes. Which is good for me since, I'm still short on the market. At least oil/gas came down a bit after the International Energy Council decided to hold off on recommending Iran to the UN Security council. Shorted tsco at 63.35 after it ran up over 25% on great earnings and guidance. Lately, I've been very fortunate to either short or long any stocks that moved more than 25% after the earnings numbers, which so far has worked well for 1 - 2 point profit. Tomorrow is the big job number and the final consumer sentiment, we will see if today's negativity was just a once time event.

Watched goog wobbled up higher and wanted to jump in, but I'll see how it handle the second day. Cover some of my tso for a -4/share loss, the Iran situation has continue to keep all the oil sector near their 52 week highs.
